Industrial surplus is a strange market: the equipment is expensive, the listings are thin, and the difference between a bargain and a boat anchor is a controller generation or a spindle history. Waverly Drives lives in that gap — we cut our teeth on automation, where the problem is worst, and built the same discipline across every category on the floor. We keep track of what is coming off lines around the continent, know which units are worth moving, and get them to the plants that need them with the diligence already done.
Sourcing is the heart of it: a plant is down or expanding, and we find the machine that fits — a robot cell, a molding machine, a machining center — vetted, priced, and freighted. On the other side of the ledger we buy surplus equipment outright, take larger systems and lines on consignment, and appraise assets for plants doing the math on an upgrade. Decommissioned line or closing facility? We will price the whole system, run the liquidation, and where the exit is the whole operation, handle the business or turnkey facility sale — real estate, contracts, and M&E included.
